Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of JesusAI (the "Service"): our website, APIs, and related experiences we operate. By creating an account, signing in (including as a guest), or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What JesusAI is — and is not

JesusAI is an AI software toolfor Christian reflection. It uses a language model to produce conversational text that draws on Scripture and summaries of Jesus' recorded teachings and example in the Gospels.

JesusAI is not Jesus Christ, not God, not the Holy Spirit, not an angel, saint, or any other spiritual being. It is not a priest, pastor, rabbi, monk, imam, or other clergy, and has no authority to grant forgiveness, absolve sin, bless, curse, excommunicate, ordain, marry, baptize, or administer any sacrament or rite. Outputs are not divine revelation, prophecy, vision, or a message from God, and are not guaranteed to be theologically or denominationally correct. Treat the Service as a reflection aid, not as religious authority.

AI disclosure

Every response in the Service is generated by artificial intelligence. You are not chatting with a human, a priest, or a historical or divine person. The tone may be warm and pastoral because the Service is designed to help with reflection, but the underlying system is software. If you are unsure whether you are interacting with a human at any point, you can assume you are not.

Not professional, pastoral, medical, or emergency care

JesusAI offers AI-assisted conversation and scripture-related tools for reflection and encouragement. It is not a substitute for licensed counsellors, therapists, medical professionals, pastors, or emergency services, and must not be relied on for medical, psychiatric, legal, financial, safety, or emergency decisions. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, you can dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

AI limitations and errors

Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuited to your situation. You are responsible for how you interpret and act on information from the Service. We do not warrant that any response is theologically, factually, or legally correct for your jurisdiction.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live and at least 13 years of age(or the minimum age required in your country to consent to processing of your data, if higher). If you are under the age of majority, you should use the Service only with a parent or guardian's permission.

Accounts, guests, and security

You may register with an email and password, or use guest sign-in where we enable it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Guest sessions are tied to your device/browser storage; clearing site data or using another device may create a separate account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to break the law, harass others, or distribute malware.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract underlying models or training data except where mandatory law allows.
  • Scrape, resell, or systematically harvest the Service in a way that degrades availability for others.
  • Upload unlawful content or content that infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

Your content and license to us

You retain rights to content you submit ("User Content"). To operate the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to provide, secure, improve, and troubleshoot the Service — including sending portions of your messages to our infrastructure and AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, to the extent allowed by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account where the product provides that option. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or we must do so for legal or security reasons.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE OPERATORS OF JESUSAI OR THEIR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, these limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify the operators of JesusAI and their affiliates, directors, and employees against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content or your misuse of the Service.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, courts with jurisdiction over the claims may hear them, subject to any rights you have to bring claims in your local courts.
